College Fair

Students and parents are invited to dive into the college search process at the Memphis National College Fair, held on Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN.  (Please see attachments)

The event, sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and hosted by the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with admission representatives from public and private colleges and universities, including some international institutions. Both two- and four-year schools will be featured.

Participants will receive tips on how to navigate the college-selection process, and learn more about admission requirements, financial aid, course offerings and campus life.

“Students and parents can discuss individual needs with college experts at the fair’s counseling center”, said Greg Ferguson, NACAC Executive Director of National College Fairs, Programs and Services.
“As the process of applying to and selecting a college becomes more and more competitive and complex, students and parents need all the help and information they can get,” Ferguson said. “The resources and opportunities provided by National College Fairs are invaluable.”

Now in its 45th year, the National College Fair program annually helps more than 675,000 students and families nationwide explore their options for higher education, making it one of the most visible college recruitment tools in the country. NACAC sponsors 63 National College Fairs across the U.S.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies offer highly motivated, intellectually curious students the opportunity to investigate topics not typically taught in secondary schools. High-achieving students to enroll in Stanford’s Summer Quarter and take the same courses as fully matriculated Stanford students and other visiting undergraduates.

Summer Institutes – Grades 8-11

A three-week summer residential program where students engage in single-subject intensive study and benefit from small class size and academically themed residences.

Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC) – Grades 10-11

SUMaC welcomes an elite group of talented current students from around the world for intensive study in advanced mathematics.

University-Level Online Math and Physics – Grades 9-12

13 courses are offered throughout the year to give students the opportunity to take an advanced offering of math and physics courses not typically available in secondary schools.

Stanford Online High School – Grades 7-12
