University of Mississippi FAST TRACK PROGRAM
University of Mississippi FAST TRACK PROGRAM
Students in FASTrack join small, supportive groups of 20. In these groups, students take three classes in common, classes that satisfy University core requirements and that are taught by hand-selected professors. Our students find quick friends and good study partners. Students can live in any residence hall and participate in FASTrack. We are open to any major.
In recent years, FASTrack students have been remarkably successful. They have earned higher average GPAs, gone on probation less often, and returned for the sophomore year at higher rates than a control group of their peers. FASTrack students have become active in the ASB, sororities and fraternities, the College Corps, and many other leadership groups on campus.
As one student said, “FASTrack was beneficial because it helped me ease into the large-school atmosphere. Some of my best friends came through connections in FASTrack. The class sizes and classes themselves were exceptional.”
I invite you to read more about FAStrack here: http://fastrack.olemiss.edu . Please note that the fee to participate in FASTrack can be waived for Pell-eligible students.

The recruiter for the college recommends that students submit their resume, letters of recommendation, and/or personal statement to help their application standout from other students who only complete the online application. They will have the opportunity to submit these additional documents on their application.

Please note that applications submitted by the February 1st deadline are valid for the entire 17-18 award year.
